Alcohol: First Violation
You must have your Center for Community Standards sanction letter and your full eCHECKUP TO GO feedback available to view during your workshop or individual meeting.

Step 1: Alcohol Workshop 1
Pre-registration is required to attend IMPACT workshops and seating is limited. Please register for this workshop. This registration process is secure and confidential.
Additional information:
- All classes begin on time, late arrivals are not admitted.
- Seating is limited, you must register for the workshop in advance.
- You MUST sign in to receive credit for your attendance.
- If you have time conflicts with the IMPACT schedule, you will need to adjust your other commitments accordingly. Scheduling accommodations cannot be made.
- Bring your WSU Student ID card for admission.
- IMPACT classes are not held on holidays or WSU vacation days.
- The workshop schedule is subject to change based on registration. You will receive an email if the workshop you registered for has changed.

Step 2: Alcohol Assessment
After attending Alcohol Workshop 1, you will receive an email granting you access to the eCHECKUP TO GO online assessment. Be sure to read the information below before proceeding to the assessment.
You will need access to a printer. Printed feedback is required for Step 3 (to attend Workshop 2 or an individual educational meeting).
Please allow yourself 45 minutes. You must complete the online assessment in one sitting.
eCHECKUP TO GO Instructions:
- To begin, you will need to “Create a New Account”. Your email address must be your WSU email address in the format of _____@wsu.edu Write down your login and password!
- Next, complete your profile. Once your account and profile are created select Alcohol eCHECKUP TO GO
- After you complete the eCHECKUP TO GO online assessment, IMPACT “next steps” will be displayed on the screen directing you to do ONE of the following:
(a) Attend Alcohol Workshop 2 (bring your printed feedback!) OR
(b) Visit Counseling and Psychological Services to schedule and attend an individual (1:1) meeting. Bring your printed feedback and sanction letter, you will not be able to schedule your appointment without this. Only complete the requirement 3(a) or 3(b) that has been assigned to you. Your sanction will not be considered complete until you complete the step which eCHECKUP TO GO referred you to.
Once you complete the consent form you will automatically be routed to the assessment. If you are having trouble accessing the assessment, please email cougarhealth.programs@wsu.edu and explain the issue.
Need to log back in to print your results?
- Log into the eCHECKUP TO GO sign-in page using the login and password you created at the time you took the assessment.
- Select the assessment you wish to view. A new tab will open with the assessment results.
- Select the “Resources” tab (located top-right)
- Select “Print Results”

Step 3: Survey Feedback
In the survey feedback under “IMPACT Next Steps,” you will be referred to either:
- Attend Alcohol Workshop 2 (see below) OR
- Contact Counseling and Psychological Services at 509-335-4511 to schedule an individual educational meeting.

- To be admitted you must provide your eCHECKUP TO GO feedback in its entirety, including the section directing you to attend Workshop 2. If your feedback shows you were directed to a 1:1 educational meeting or you did not complete the eCHECKUP TO GO you will not be admitted.
